Bridge House New Orleans to Celebrate 50 Years
For fifty years Bridge House has served as a substance-abuse treatment center of last resort. "Every day we accept and treat those to whom most other institutions deny admission: the homeless and indigent drug and alcohol abusers of our community."
Located in mid-city New Orleans, Bridge house is Louisiana's largest residential substance abuse treatment program, offering treatment to the homeless and indigent regardless of their ability to pay. SAAS and NIATx are pleased to announce an exciting, collaborative event! We are making plans to hold joint conferences in 2008: the SAAS National Conference and the NIATx Annual Summit. With the substantial overlap in subject matter and audience between our two organizations, leaders of both groups decided to come together for side-by-side events: two conferences for the price of one. We will share some of the program sessions, exhibit hall, receptions, and other components of the conference, and we’ll also have separate programming. Conference guests will be able to choose from a wide array of workshops from both conference programs. Please save the date: June 22-25, 2008 (June 22 will be a pre-conference day).

This beautiful resort hotel is part of the Disney properties. Nearby Downtown Disney offers restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Of course we will encourage attendees to bring their families. We look forward to seeing you at this hallmark event!
