NIATx Process Improvement: It Really Works
Lee Mental Health in Fort Myers, Florida, is using process improvement in
non-clinical processes. "With NIATx, you follow a path that leads to actual completion of your goals.
It doesn't matter if the challenge is a clinical one or not-the process really works!"

Strengthening Treatment Access and Retention--State Implementation
(STAR-SI) in Wisconsin
In August 2005, the state of Wisconsin Division of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services began implementing NIATx process improvement with six volunteer outpatient treatment providers. Just three years later, the initiative has grown to 30 providers.

NIATx 200 Moves into Sustainability Phase
Funded by NIDA, This collaborative project of five
states--Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, Oregon and Washington--evolved from the original NIATx research that focused on implementing changes to business processes to improve access to and retention in substance abuse treatment settings.
