Jefferson County uses NIATx approach to reduce emergency detentions for teens

"By 2014, we had reduced our adolescent emergency detentions from 33 to 18 and saved the county enough money to invest in a new youth therapist position," says Kathi Cauley, director of the Jefferson County Human Sercies Department in Jefferson, Wisconsin.
