State Grant-funded Projects

Contact your SSA Add to portal to find out if there is a local NIATx project in your area.

If you are a funder looking to start a local learning collaborative to improve access and retention, contact Amy McIlvaine at amy.mcilvaine@chess.wisc.edu or call 608-262-5999.

Web-based Learning

We've developed a variety of resources to help you successfully implement the NIATx model of Process Improvement, including:

  • Process Improvement 101
In less than 60 minutes, we'll present an overview of the NIATx Process Improvement Model and will prepare you to conduct a Walk-through at your organization.
  • Provider Toolkit
The NIATx provider toolkit provides a collection of tools and technical support to help you improve access to and retention in treatment at your agency.
  • System-level Toolkit
This toolkit offers a method, tools, and motivation for implementing a payer/provider Change Project across an entire State or another system.
  • Promising Practices
Promising Practices are changes which were tested and shown to be actual improvements by various behavioral health organizations.
  • Discussion Forum
Where NIATx users can get help from over 4000 provider participants, 100 coaches and university staff. Find an answer in the Instant Help FAQ, post a question or answer other users' questions in the NIATx Discussion Forum.

The NIATx Change Leader Academy

The Change Leader Academy (CLA) is designed for dedicated individuals with little experience in leading change.

This two-day workshop will develop your knowledge, confidence and skills to apply the NIATx model of process improvement in your organization.
