Visit our Partner Projects: The Great Lakes ATTC, MHTTC, and PTTC!
Submitted by: 03/18/2019 by Maureen FitzgeraldThe Center for Health Enhancement Systems Studies (CHESS) and NIATx were awarded a SAMHSA grant to lead the Great Lakes Addiction Technology Transfer Center in fall 2017. In Fall 2018, we received awards to lead the new Great Lakes Mental Health Technology Transfer Center and the Great Lakes Prevention Technology Transfer Center. CHESS is one of only two institutions in the country to be awarded all three technology transfer center grants.
The three projects provide training and technical assistance to the behavioral health workforce in Health and Human Services Region 5: IL, IN, MI, MN, OH, and WI.
Our three projects, part of the SAMHSA’s new Technology Transfer Center Program, share a common goal to disseminate and implement evidence-based practices into the prevention, addiction treatment, and mental health treatment fields.
