The NIATx Opioid Treatment Provider Process Improvement Learning Collaborative - Cohort II

20 Opioid Treatment programs will participate in a NIATx learning collaborative to improve access to and retention in treatment.

The Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) has retained NIATx to provide coaching, training and technical assistance to 20 publicly-funded Opioid Treatment Programs (OTPs).

The OTP Learning Collaborative will consist of 2 cohorts. Cohort I included 20 participants and ran from September 2009 to October 2010. Cohort II will run from July 2011 to May 2012.

  • Seven Hills Behavioral Health of Massachusetts reduced waiting time to treatment by 50%
  • St. Vincent Catholic Medical Center’s OTP in Brooklyn, NY, increased admissions by 53% over the previous year, resulting in an increase in census and revenue
