Project Description
The NIATx Fee-for-Service Capacity Pyramid
The collaborative will consist of six conveners—a state, county, provider association, or intermediary—who must recruit and support 10 to 12 local non-profit treatment providers.
Each of the six teams will be assigned to one of two levels in the NIATx Fee-for-Service Capacity Pyramid:
- Level 1: Billing system design and implementation, or
- Level 2: Improve billing process to increase collections
Ideally each provider in a regional team will fit in the same level.
Pending funding, NIATx will offer another learning collaborative focused on Level 3: Contracting with Third Party Payers, later in 2011.
